Collector's Notes
This piece is ideal for Civil War re-enactors, military history collectors, and Americana enthusiasts. The eagle emblem reflects the proud iconography of the post-war period, making it a striking display piece or functional accessory for living history events.
A rare find for the serious collector of American military heritage. In very good condition, includes a few powdered shells inside the case. Has inspector stamp on cover and makers mark on interior. Definitely not an original used in the war, but from our research and based on the makers mark, seems to be made in the 19th century as a reproduction of the originals.
